I just had the Gigaspire and separate ont installed. I had a combined calix/ont router before. I have a Deco mesh system already in place so I can reach the few outbuildings on my property. I expect that I will incporporate that because I am not going to buy the mesh part of this as I have a bit invested in the other system. I have an art studio , a barn/workshop and a chicken coop besides the house. I have smart switches and cameras as well as automated lights and even an automated door on the chicken coop. I also have a server with Home assistant and Blue Iris on it. I will be giving this a work out as I play with it over the next few weeks. I am a hobbyist not professional so I will be figuring out port forwarding and VPN's and how this works in the network and with my programs. I am in the Wyoming boonies. We had a fiber upgrade in the last two years.
How accurate do you feel the speeds are, I currently have a 2g plan, but no secondary test even comes close to the speeds the app shows.
Is there a Way to add a Non Powered Hard Drive To this Router I Connected a Non Powered hard drive to the USB Port and the router kept shutting down Oddly and Powering Back on .
I just got the gigaspire. I really want to see a side by side against a NETGEAR - Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 5 Router .. My netgear has 3 channels which helps with congestion. Does the Gigaspire have that? Does the Nighthawk have better range? Overall what is better. I would try to review it but just don't have the knowledge on how to test all this

I have this same router and I installed the CommandIQ app on my Iphone and the only device it shows connect to my router is my Iphone. I have 13 devices connect, but it doesn't show them.
